2025 Waitlist Opening for Housing Choice Voucher Program
Pre-applications will be accepted from January 7, 2025 through January 26, 2025
You may fill out a pre-application online, in paper form, or via telephone with support from OHA staff. If you choose paper pre-application, an OHA staff member will assist with entering your information into the online portal for the purposes of the lottery. Please visit one of our OHA Application Assistance Centers on one of the following dates and times below or call (510) 587-5168 or TDD (510) 587-7119.

The Oakland Housing Authority (OHA) announces a limited waitlist opening for the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program. Pre-applications will be accepted from Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at 12:00am through Sunday, January 26, 2025 at 11:59 pm.
Interested families can click here to pre-register for the application portal.

Already on a Wait List?
If you have already completed a Waitlist Pre-Application your application will go through a lottery process for placement on one or more Waitlists, based on the program(s) to which you applied. Status is not provided by telephone. OHA will communicate with Applicants via email about their pre-application status. Applicants may return to the
Applicant Portal to report a change of address.
